MSPT – Master of Physical Therapy
Matt McPherson is a licensed physical therapist at our Standale Clinic. He received his Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology and Religion from Hope College. He then went on to earn his Master’s in Physical Therapy from Old Dominion University in 2001.
Matt has worked with a diverse patient population over his 20+ years as a physical therapist. He enjoys getting to know his patients and hearing their stories. He is drawn to working with athletes of all ages in outpatient physical therapy but he has spent years in home care, caring for the senior members of the community as well. Matt uses a mix of hands-on treatments and functional exercises to bring about optimal performance at home, work, and recreation.
In his free time, Matt enjoys hiking in the Smoky Mountains, shooting handguns/rifles, teaching CPL classes, and gunsmithing.

I’ve been to other places but no one is as good at what they do as Hulst Jepsen. The variety of specialists in their facilities is astounding. The service is excellent.
